Street Co’ accredited service technicians do their best to restore your equipment to working order, for both warranty and out-of-warranty repair. Street Co’ maintenance services help optimize the safety, efficiency, brightness and lifetime of your Street Co’ product installation. Street Co’ displays are designed to help you communicate with your audience. That’s a big deal to any company, and because it’s a big deal for you, it’s a big deal for us. That’s why we’re backing our innovative displays with a warranty that’s worth something to you: our two-year Street Co to Pixel Warranty backs your display all the way down to the individual LED pixel. And we are the only ones who do.
Individual pixels may fail; we won’t.
We stand behind every display we deliver, and our team is always just a phone call or an email away.
If a single pixel on your display goes out during the warranty period, we repair or replace it, so that your display always stays in top condition. This warranty covers the entire display from corner to corner, including all parts and DIU devices sold by Street Co’, from the date of shipment. Street Co’ warrants that the display will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use for the entire warranty period.
This Standard Limited Warranty applies to all displays sold by Street Communication (Street Co’) to End Users, Resellers or Distributors, unless otherwise stated (referred to in this Warranty as the “Display” or the “Displays”). The term Display includes the associated Street Co’ DIU devices.
The Warranty Period starts on the date Street Co’ ships the Display to the End User or, for a sale through a Street Co’ Reseller or Distributor, on the date of first shipment to their customer.
Street Co’ warrants to the End User that the Display will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use during the standard Warranty Period. This warranty applies only to the Display as originally installed at the End User’s location; it does not cover Displays resold after their initial installation, nor Displays used for rental or other temporary installations.
Two years for all Display components and parts, including DIUs (the “Warranty Period”).
This warranty does not cover:
damage or loss, including theft, occurring during shipment from Street Co’ facilities to the End User or distributor. Displays are sold EXW (Ex Works, Incoterms® 2020), crated, at the Street Co’ shipping site; the purchaser is responsible for taking out appropriate transport insurance (failure of a Display at installation remains covered by this warranty);
damage to or failure of LEDs beyond their recommended life, generally ten years for Street Co’ LEDs;
damage or failure caused by connecting the Display to a device not approved by Street Co’;
damage or failure caused by a repair carried out during the Warranty Period by personnel not authorised or approved by Street Co’;
damage or problems caused by the use of non-approved replacement parts by unauthorised personnel;
damage or failure caused by misuse, improper handling or moving, a non-compliant power supply, accident, fire, flood, lightning, earthquake or any other natural or man-made disaster (including power surges, vandalism, terrorism and tampering), environmental conditions, inappropriate storage, or unsecured mounting or hanging;
damage or failure caused by incorrect installation, alignment or set-up, or by service personnel not approved by Street Co’;
damage or failure caused by any modification of the Display not carried out by Street Co’ or its authorised service partners;
damage or failure caused by using the Display while in motion, unless on a platform or mobile support specifically approved by Street Co’;
use of the Display beyond the tolerances set or calibrated by Street Co’ before shipment;
normal wear and tear, including tears and dents.
This warranty does not apply (i) to Displays or DIU devices whose serial number has been removed or made illegible, or (ii) to Displays sold by a Reseller to an End User and then resold or rented. Failure to carry out regular maintenance in line with the maintenance schedule specified by Street Co’ voids this warranty.
For any return, the End User or customer must use suitable packaging (we recommend keeping the original packaging and crate). If components must be returned to Street Co’, the End User or customer pays the outbound shipping and, if located outside the European Union, handles the export formalities; Street Co’ pays for returning the repaired or replaced components.
Street Co’ repairs or replaces a display module as soon as a single pixel fails to operate normally (does not light at all, fails to light one of its RGB colours, is stuck on a colour or works intermittently, for example due to a weakened solder joint), if an electrical or electronic component fails to operate normally (power supply, communication boards, DIU interface unit, etc.), or in the event of a mechanical failure of the cabinet or of mounting hardware supplied by Street Co’ (excluding the cases listed above).
The warranty applies to Displays sold worldwide. Removal, reinstallation and shipping of failed components to Street Co’ remain the purchaser’s responsibility. This warranty does not oblige Street Co’ to provide on-site service at the Display location. Street Co’ offers Service Level Agreements (SLA) that include on-site service, repair, maintenance and an on-site spare parts kit, with several levels of stock and response times. Contact your Street Co’ representative for more details.
Street Co’ or its authorised service partner must be notified of the defect during the Warranty Period. As soon as the defect is discovered, the End User or customer emails contact@streetcommunication.com or notifies the relevant authorised service partner. A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number is provided by email or during the call. During the Warranty Period, Street Co’ repairs or replaces defective parts free of charge and makes every reasonable effort to complete the repair as quickly as possible.
Street Co’ may store spare parts at the End User’s or customer’s site, to be kept in a secure and accessible place. If no parts are available on site, Street Co’ or its authorised partner ships them by express delivery at its own expense during the Warranty Period. Customs duties and surcharges for international shipments remain the responsibility of the End User or customer.
For any warranty repair, Street Co’ or its authorised partner may use new or refurbished parts. Replacement parts are warranted for the remainder of the original Warranty Period. This warranty may be supplemented or modified by other Street Co’ programmes, including extended warranty periods, or by written agreement with Street Co’. Unless agreed in writing, it does not apply to obsolete, refurbished or demonstration Displays sold by Street Co’.
This commercial warranty is granted by Street Communication (Street Co’), SIREN 820 150 308. It is in addition to, and does not replace, the legal warranties that apply to the sale, and it applies together with our general terms and conditions of sale.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Street Co’ is not liable for indirect damages, including loss of revenue or profit, nor for damage or injury resulting from inappropriate use, mounting or hanging of the Displays. This warranty is not transferable.
