Context / environment
HbCommunications & Mgeutc were in charge of the new build for anything related to the AV system integration of the new HQ for WebMD in 395 Hudson Street New York, New York, NY – 147,000 SF
Street Co’ was appointed as the technical partner to supply the complete LED display strip screens turnkey solution which was to be attached to a concrete wall in the main entrance of the building.
TPG Architect were in charge of the master planning and the interior design for this building.
Solution
We designed and produced LED screen display strips with display pitches of 1.5 mm. 9 sqm.
WebMD wanted a bespoke innovative design and Street Communication’s designers and engineering team worked hard to create a custom design for scratch.
Street Co’ designed a completely bespoke solution to integrate the LED strip panel into the existing wall.
The strip LED will cover the complete housing space allocated for it.
For health and safety reasons, the screens’ components (Power supplier, cables, receiving cards etc..) will be embedded inside the cabinet.
All technical parameters related to the screens will be shared after commissioning such as:
- LED product / solution design
- Installation system
- Electricity requirements
- Control system
- Maintenance / Logistic
The team has much experience in fitting and designing custom LED displays with innovative shapes. The LED strip display is located in the entrance of the new headquarters of WebMD to stun visitors when they arrive. The company wanted their building to reflect their passion for new technologies.
Street communication’s architectural designers, LED architects and LED engineers all collaborated to create the LED strip display integrated within the AV system of the building.
So whenever a customer arrived his or her name would be displayed on the screen.
