Client:behind the number use a Flexible led strip display
Behind the Numbers was an innovative temporary exhibition, designed to bring the history of the recently vacated Brussels Stock Exchange and the Stock Markets to life in this historic building. Once it physically closed its doors to the public in 2016. The “Behind the numbers” exhibition dedicated to the workings and secrets of the world of finance was held from September 4 to November 8, 2015 in a prestigious building steeped in history: the Palais de la Bourse in Brussels.
Context / environment
This project was installed for an exhibition called ‘BEHIND THE NUMBERS’
It took place within the prestigious ‘Bourse de Bruxelles’ (ex stock-market of Brussel) building in the heart of Brussel.
This project was created by CHRISTOPHE GAETA scenograph, for TREETOP ASSET MANAGEMENT. It consists of a bespoke indoor LED strip Pitch 6mm with 1500nit brightness across the complete building installation. This strip will wrap the curved form of the buildings. The screens tell the story of the historic stock-market of Brussels.
Solution : set up a flexible led strip display
The exhibition includes three huge cylinders wrapped with the LED strip which illustrate the constant display of financial information on those flexible & curved LED indoor screen displays.
We proposed an LED strip system be fixed and suspended around the structure.
