Our LED design proposals for El Corte Inglès, Madrid

Street Co’ was contacted by Brief and idea, based in Madrid, Spain in the summer of 2016.

Their client, El Corte Inglès, which is a famous Spanish mall company, has decided to build a new one in the Spanish capital. It is that large shopping mall that El Corte Inglès, especially a hall and corridor area, wanted to enhance and to make it stand out from the rest of the quarters of their building. This area that they wished to enhance was mainly for kids, with shops for children of all ages which included, clothes, shoes, and toys. They wanted to redo this area to make it more of a kid friendly area. A area where both parents and children could enjoy themselves.

In partnership with the brilliant architect Arthur Mamou-Mani, we, at Street Co’, made several proposals for the company, see bellow :

El Corte Inglés, the biggest department store group in Europe is located in Madrid. It’s also ranked as number 4 of the biggest department stores worldwide.

Their team contacted us to design a lighting installation using LED screens. We proposed them different options, four to be exact together with our designer, Arthur and we came up with innovative designs that would catch any customer’s eyes. This would take the buying experience to another level and give the department store even more popularity.

El Corte Inglés is Spain’s only remaining department store chain, as well as owner of several associated businesses, such as:

  • Supercor
  • Hiporcor
  • Repsol opencor
  • Sfera
  • Optica 2000
  • Bricor
  • Viajes El Corte Inglés
  • Technologias de la Información y comunicación
  • Centreo de seguros y servicios
  • seguros el corte inglés
  • financiera el corte inglés

They asked us to design a fun area where the screens could be interactive for both children and parents.

We were able to come up with a design that included LED floors as well as LED walls. Full of color and designs, allowing the user to change the color and movement, all by the touch of their fingers. We were also able to come up with a design for the celling allowing it to have a fun shape that would move with the shape of the walls as well as the floor. This project would allow the mall to attract many more clients within their children area. Not only could the parents shop for what they needed but also allow their children to play in this area, which would be strictly designed for children. As you can see anything is possible when you allow Street Co. to help you design your next idea. We help you bring your dreams into reality!
